The cyber criminals were running the phishing attack and used Bank of France’s name, logo, and also email addresses and phone numbers to make their fake emails that are similar to the bank. The fake emails redirect users to a malicious website asking to download malicious files and input their bank information.

The bank warned customers against inputting private information online or giving it over the phone.
